
Tuna Salad Sandwich

Ingredients
7 items- 2 cans (5 oz each) canned tuna, drainedpantry staple
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- to taste salt and black pepperpantry staple
- 8 slices whole wheat bread
- 4 lettuce leaves
Instructions
In a medium bowl, flake the drained tuna with a fork.
Stir in the mayonnaise, diced celery, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Toast the bread if desired, then spread the tuna salad evenly over 4 slices.
Top with a lettuce leaf and the remaining bread slices, then cut each sandwich in half.
Serve right away, or chill the tuna salad for up to 2 days before assembling sandwiches.
