- No ads, and we never sell or share your family's data. fruutium is free to use, and every lesson and game is available from day one. The app isn't built around monetizing your child's attention, so there's no behavioral tracking and nothing handed off to advertisers.
- What data do you collect about my child?
- We store your child's first name, age, and learning progress. That's the complete list. We don't collect email addresses from children, we don't use behavioral tracking, we don't serve ads, and we don't share or sell data to third parties. fruutium is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which means parental consent is required before any child data is stored.
- How is this different from YouTube or other free apps?
- Most free apps are free because your child's attention is the product, sold to advertisers. fruutium has no ads and no ad-supported business model. It's also structured differently from video content: lessons follow a deliberate sequence across four wellness pillars, so your child builds understanding progressively rather than watching disconnected content. Each session has a clear start and end, which makes it easier to set healthy screen time limits.
- Will this actually change what my child eats?
- We won't promise that fruutium will fix picky eating overnight. That would be dishonest. What it does is give children an age-appropriate understanding of why nutrition matters, in language they can connect with. Many parents find that kids who understand the "why" behind healthy eating are more willing to engage with it over time. fruutium builds the foundation; your family applies it.
- Is fruutium an app or a website?
- Both, in practice. fruutium is a web app: it runs in the browser on phones, tablets, and computers, so there's nothing to download or install. Your child can use it on any device with a browser, and progress stays synced to your family account.
- What age is this designed for?
- fruutium is designed for children ages 4 to 13. Lessons and games adapt to your child's age and track: younger children get simpler, more visual content, while older children get more depth. You set your child's age when creating their profile, and fruutium places them on the right starting path automatically.
- What if I want to delete my child's account?
- You can delete your child's profile and all associated data directly from Settings. No support ticket, no waiting, no forms. If you want to delete your entire account, that option is in Settings too. We'll remove everything. You're always in control of your family's data.
